Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year. It's a two-day celebration occurring in early autumn, the seventh month of the Jewish year, and the first of the Jewish High Holy Days. It's the traditional anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve, the first man and woman according to the Hebrew Bible, and the inauguration of humanity's role in God's world. Rosh Hashanah customs include sounding the shofar (a ram's horn), attending synagogue services and reciting special liturgy, as well as enjoying festive meals. Eating symbolic foods such as pomegranates and apples dipped in honey is done in hopes of evoking a sweet new year. It is both a time of rejoicing and of serious introspection, a time to celebrate the completion of another year while also taking stock of one's life.

The Best Card Company has created a number of Rosh Hashanah Assorted Card Sets so that you can properly and joyfully celebrate the New Year with all of your Jewish friends, family members and coworkers. These lovely and festive cards are artfully rendered and adorned with red, seed-filled, symbolic pomegranates, stylized white Hebrew lettering, blue and green Stars of David, golden cups, purple grapes, honey pots, ram's horns, and colorful flowers and scrolls. Many of the note-worthy note cards also include a Hebrew "Shanah Tovah" salutation on the outsides (meaning in English: "Have a good year!") with a "Chag Sameach" ("Happy Holidays") greeting on the insides of the missives; along with the traditional Hebrew language lettering. They're gorgeous, glowing, emblematic greeting cards for all those you know who religiously, respectfully and happily celebrate the Jewish New Year.
